The Jumper EZbook X3 Review post talks about a budget-friendly yet decent laptop. This laptop does not feature high-end specs, so we can say that this laptop is for beginners and not for the ones performing demanding tasks on their laptops. The performance of this laptop is quite up to the mark but it does have some flaws. Though it may offer decent performance and good display quality, on the other hand, it fails to offer good build quality and input devices. Let’s talk more about the various advantages and disadvantages that this laptop from Jumper offers. You may also like to read about the Best Laptops under £200.
Jumper EZbook X3 Review
Build:
After having a first look at the Jumper EZbook X3 laptop, I find that it has a good design for a budget laptop. But when I examined it more, I found that the build quality was not as expected as I have seen many laptops falling in the same price band offering better build quality. The reason why I say this is because the laptop has a plastic build which feels flimsy and cheap. The hinge that holds the display also disappoints me as the display wobbles when you move the laptop.
Display:
Like many entry-level laptops, this laptop has a small display which measures 13.3 inches. So I can say that this laptop is pretty compact. If I talk about the quality of the picture that appears on the screen, it is appreciable. It comes with Full HD technology and offers a good contrast ratio and a nice colour palette, apt for watching movies and videos. Although the brightness distribution across the screen is stable, the brightness levels are not very high. The IPS panel offers a 60Hz refresh rate.
Performance:
This laptop gets the Intel Celeron N3450 processor which is of course not a powerful processor. However, for performing the usual tasks of web browsing or watching videos or running office apps, it offers decent performance. While performing such tasks, it does not slow down, thanks to the large 8GB RAM offered on it. It also has a good SSD storage capacity of 256GB to let you store a good amount of data. You also get the option to expand the storage using a TF card.
Battery, Connectivity and Input Devices:
The battery of this laptop lasts for around 8 hours and I find that appreciable. For wireless connectivity, dual-band Wifi and Bluetooth 4.1 is offered. The ports include a Mini HDMI, a pair of USB 3.1, an audio jack, and a card reader. The keyboard and trackpad offered on this laptop are flawed as the keyboard is quite bouncy whereas the trackpad does not seem very responsive. The input devices on the whole including the webcam and microphone seem to be of poor quality.
Conclusion:
The Jumper EZbook X3 is a pocket-friendly laptop. If you are a student or an office professional, this laptop will offer you adequate performance since its processor suffices for usual tasks. This laptop is compact and offers a good battery backup. I also appreciate the quality of the display which is offered for that low price. However, this laptop does not have a good build quality. Also, the input devices including the webcam, microphones and speakers are of poor quality.
